GeoDNS is Series C Research that needs Multiple regions. Without it, users on every continent enter through the home region and pay two round trips, for example 150 ms from Europe to North America. With it, each region's users enter through their own region's Users Node, or the nearest live one during a Region outage. The Data residency checklist item also needs GeoDNS.
