Canary deployment
A release method that sends a small share of traffic to a new version first and compares its errors and latency with the old version. If the canary looks healthy, the rollout continues; if not, it is rolled back before most users see it.

The game has no canary deploy option yet: a deploy ships to every App Server at once. The closest is a Stack migration, which moves traffic to the new Stack in steps of 5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. The new Stack fails 3% of its requests until you pay to fix its bugs, so early steps limit the damage.
