Drift
The difference between the infrastructure a tool such as Terraform or Pulumi last deployed and what runs now. Drift comes from changes made outside the tool, such as a resize in a cloud console, and from code changes that are not applied yet.

In Quorum#
A Mirror drifts in two ways: it is behind when its source region changed, and it has a hand change when you changed the Mirror directly. Apply brings the Mirror back to its source and reverts the hand changes its plan sees. Terraform plans see every hand change at once. Pulumi and Alchemy plan against the state they recorded, so a hand change shows only after Refresh or Check drift. Keep a correct regional difference as an override.
