Egress
Data that leaves a cloud provider's network, to the internet or to another zone or region. Providers charge per GB for it, while data coming in is usually free.

In Quorum#
From Seed, Burn includes egress: $0.09 per GB that App Servers send to users, and $0.02 per GB for pages a CDN answers at the edge. A call between zones costs $0.01 per GB each way, and a call between regions $0.02 per GB, all scaled by the Era's cost index. Compression makes page and read responses 70% smaller for 10% more CPU.
